I've been hiding it for WAY too long:

Hear ye, hear ye! I have a very important announcement to make:

My sweet nephews, Clayton and Hudson, are going to be
BIG BROTHERS!

I have a niece or nephew due June 10th, 2010! Sprout is at 11 weeks gestation and growing like a weed. And also making my sister utterly nauseated.

We're all so excited!

..what, you didn't think I was typing up these baby product posts for nothing, did you!?

Heck no -- I look out for my big sis! :)

Two of the best days of my life:

I love being an aunt.

  4. yippie skippie!! Lemme know when you find out what she's having! Clayton and I think it's a girl. Actually, before he (or anyone) knew she was pregnant, he revealed to us that he was having a baby sister. And, since then, he's been giving my sister baby girl name ideas. and she JUST told him YESTERDAY.

very, very creepy. I'm betting all my money that it is a girl and that C had serious intuition on this whole thing. Being an aunt is THE BEST!!!! :D We're so lucky, Emmy!

  5. I need to see if C can tell me what's brewing in my womb. I don't know any tots I can take my belly to. *sigh* Guess I'll just have to wait 9 more days. *Hopefully* only nine.

  6. :D His latest girl name ideas are Isabella and Flower.

Ha!!! With Hudson, he insisted for the whole pregnancy that it was a boy. Then, in the last 3 weeks, he changed his mind and said it was a girl. So.. I'm taking his word for it this time since he initially said girl and is sticking to his guns! :) So sweet. 9 days isn't long to wait! It'll be great!

  7. Yep, if it actually is nine days. I'm only guessing. I am thinking about getting on my knees and begging Dr. D to do a quick ultrasound for me before we leave if he doesn't initially do one so we can find out. I am SO ANXIOUS and just ready to know. It's been 17 weeks too long not knowing. Ha.

I like Flower the best. Hehe. ;)

  10. Congrats! :)

um, can I just say that is one big newborn baby in that second picture! How much did he weigh?!

    ReplyDelete
  11. he looks huge in the picture, right?!!?! He was SOOO tiny at birth!! He only weighed 6lbs 8oz and 19 inches! REALLY tiny. I guess he just looks big because the doctor's holding him close to the camera. Clayton (top pic) weighed over 7lbs, but I forget the exact amount.. crazy, right?!
