hehe!! Piper can jump up on the couch (FINALLY) but she's no where near close to being big enough to jump up on a chair or couch. So sad.. I'm trying to think of neat things to teach her, and I can't think of anything. Maybe I'll start trying to teach her to roll over or play dead!!
Yes! Rolling over and playing dead! Those are good ones! What commands does she know so far? Lily knows: sit, down, stay, up, flat, her release command "okay," off (when she's on things she shouldn't be on) and how to fetch. If there's one of those Pi doesn't know yet, maybe you could get an idea from that!
well, like, if we say "Piper" in a certain tone, she will go away from something. She is (seriously) like a toddler. She looks guilty and backs away immediately. Anyway ;) she knows sit, stay, up, and "okay" just like you're talking about. Piper doesn't know how to fetch. We've never tried.. I think I will try to teach her "BANG!" and her lay on her back like she's dead. That should be fun!!! I'll start tomorrow!! :) Oh. and Piper knows "lay" for going flat on her belly. Sometimes we say "lay down" but it's all the same to her.
I'll keep you updated on if she learns it!!! Or if it's a disaster ;) hehehe.
Well I hope she does learn it! I can't wait to see a video of her playing dead! I'm not sure what we're going to teach Lily to do next, either. Hopefully we'll get some time to start training her with new things soon...we're so busy right now we barely have time to sleep. :/ Blah.
If I tried that with my dogs I would get "THE LOOK".......and one of them would say...."WHO ARE WE KIDDING HERE....GIVE US THE TREATS AND WE WON'T CRAP ON YOUR FLOOR"...........Kim

Mark is serving our country in the United States Air Force as an electrician. He loves his career and loves his family even more. He surprises me daily with how awesome of a Daddy he can be. I am absolutely in love with him and SO thankful for him!
Little Toot
Our sweet girl entered our lives on October 20, 2010, and our lives have never been more full or more fun! She's timid, yet spunky and independent; cuddly yet always on the go. She loves learning new words, playing babies and kitchen, and being near her Mama. Her love for babies makes us very excited to see her become Big Sister this fall!
Piper
Piper is our 2-year-old West Highland Terrier! She's full of spunk and brings unimaginable joy to our lives. Piper can be found napping on the couch, snuggled next to me, carrying a "nip" around the house, or rough housing with her favorite raccoon toy! She takes her role as "protector" of our family very seriously and is always guarding our house!
Hehe, her "up" is so cute! Lily's "up" is to jump up on something, like the couch or our bed or something. ;)
