A Winter Surprise from the Muskateers

I have the bestest friends in the world. If you don't believe me, follow me on the journey. A journey I would like to call A Winter Surprise.

There I was. It was a cold, drizzily (??), gray, dreary day. Time was moving at the speed of a millipede. Those creatures actually move pretty fast, but it's my coined phrase.

Anyway.

I woke Mark up (pre-arranged), and we got ready to go to the movies for our nightly date (more on that later). I opened our side door, and there it was: A Winter Surprise.

GASP. What's that?!

*both of us stare for approximately 20 seconds without moving*

That can't be the *gelkjgaljgra* that we just ordered. I just ordered it yesterday. There's no way it could have gotten here that fast. What is it? Who do you think it's from? Is it from my mom?

And then I recognized the writing. Immaculate, girly, perfect writing that we all envy so much. Err, at least I do. And I knew in an instant who it was from: Teeny Pants.

Otherwise known as Christine, to the rest of you.

Mark sliced the package open (with care!), and we just gawked. I mean, really?! Who is she? Mother Theresa? I investigated it at once and saw that, not only was it from Teeny, but it was also from Emmy! Together, we all make up the Three Muskateers.

In case you can't tell, they bought us snowmen mugs, Starbursts!!, all of the ingredients to make smores (I've, um, never made a smore. ever.), hot chocolate, Christmas sprinkles (I LOVE sprinkles!), Christmas cookie cutters, an ornament, and a movie that we both love. I think I covered anything, but I probably left something out.

Now, really? I think this proves, without a shadow of a doubt, that I have the bestest friends. Once upon a time, I didn't think Emmy was real. I thought she was a funny & famous blogger that Teeny followed. And then I realized that they were actually friends in real life. Then I got addicted to Em's blog, because she is nothing short of fantastic. And, from there, we realized that we were all exactly alike. And, together, we make up the Three Muskateers. That's muskateers spelled with an a, not an e.

You two are the sweetest, kindest, most loving little ladies on the planet, I just know it! Seriously, that ornament signifies more than you could ever know. It will always have a special meaning, and I know you two know why. I love love LOVE you to death!!! Thank you a zillion times from the both of us! I know Mark was kind of shocked beyond words. We really didn't deserve it, but thank you :)

Teeny and Emmy will both be attending my sweet older nephew's birthday party in December. I know that Clayton will be excited (and shocked) to see Teeny again, and I just know he will love Emmy! (Plus, I get to meet her for the first time! Thrilling!)

This is the best EVER!! Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh, and for our date? We went to see 2012. Movie review coming up. Be on the lookout. Meanwhile, I'll be hanging our new ornament on our tree and staring at my Winter Surprise. How wonderful.

PS. If you didn't get my un-subtle hint, I totally think you ought to check out both of their blogs!

Love,

1/3 Muskateer

  2. HA! I did kind of find it odd that you asked (randomly) about our mail man ;] Our mail man comes on foot, so I never know when he comes. Plus, we have NO windows in the front of our house, except in our kitchen, so I can't see when he comes. So it was a total surprise when I saw it this afternoon! :) :) And you are VERY sneaky! You're also the best :) (and Em is tied with you for The Best, as well)

  6. Yes! It's a Canon Rebel! :] I think the 10 megapixel, but I don't even know. Ha. I could get up and inspect it to find out, but idk. I just bought it on a whim with Mark, and we LOOOOOVE it. We also just bought a 3rd lens for it :] (Same lens that MckMama uses), so we can't wait!!! It should be here THIS WEEK!
