Yesterday was Clayton's 5th birthday party.
How is that even possible?
While his actual birthday isn't for another seven days, he had a big carnival party a smidge early!
There is no way that I can put all the photos on my blog, so I'll pick and choose a few to share. Lots of friends and family joined together to celebrate five years of Clayton -- we had popcorn, cotton candy, and hot dogs, as well as a ton of fun games: rock wall, duck pond, ring toss, bean bag toss, football throw, and bowling. We also had a face painting station with colored hair spray! The kids got to play for almost an hour, and went from station to station, gathering prizes in their little baggies.
I was in charge of the duck pond (my personal favorite). All of the kids just loved my station, including Hudsie, who wanted to take a bath in the pool. My friends Emily, Christine, and Alyssa came, so that was very exciting!
I guess it's true.
He says he's five
he looks five
we just celebrated his 5th birthday
so he must really be five. How did that even happen!? It was just yesterday that the hospital played Brahm's Lullaby to announce his arrival. Sigh.
At any rate, it was an incredible birthday party, and I'm so glad that I got to see him blow out his Batman candle.
I love you, sweet baby boy! You will always be my baby boy, no matter how old you are! Kisses and hugs and tickles.
