Rules are simple:
1. Post where you want to be in 10 years
2. Pass it on to 10 of your bloggy friends!
Ten years from now? I'll be 32. Ack! I'll likely be having mixed feelings about being so "old." Ahem. I'll have two or three kids. Maybe two girls and a baby boy. I'll drive a Honda Odyssey, I'll pick up McDonalds for the kids and let Piper ride along for fun, and my life will be peachy keen. Mark will be chief master sergeant and we'll be living the life at Patrick AFB (located in Cocoa Beach, Florida). I'll be tanner than a crispy critter. Piper will be nearly 11 years old, so she'll be an old grandma -- but she'll still enjoy trips to the ocean. I'll definitely be more confident, and me having 3 children, a CMsgt husband, and a grandma dog will give me a little edge in my personality. I'll be an active member of MOPS at my local church, and my most favorite thing to do will be to watch my little girls dance and play their string instruments. I'll really, really hate doing laundry by this point, but I'll still enjoy cooking. Heck, I might even bake WITH my children! I'll secretly enjoy reading my children's books more than they do, because children's books are the best kind out there. And in ten years, I'll still be doting on my manly, strong, handsome husband. I'll be brave(r), but I'll still make him kill the bugs.******

***** Okay. So my vision is a little out of reach. It's my vision, so there! At least I didn't say that Mark was going to be base commander. Which COULD happen. Maybe. Ahem.
Have fun, little friends!
Sounds good, especially the FL bit! Glad to hear from you!

ReplyDeleteprobably not. I can't decide. I'm really attached and madly in love with my little dog. I doubt I could ever love another dog as much as her.
ReplyDeleteOH HOW FUN!!!! I can't wait to do mine!
ReplyDeletesounds like a divine and blessed life!! ; ) just a FYI for you, if you see a gazillion viewings of your blog a day from our house, it's Emily. She checks on it several times a day and announced last night that she's obsessed with your blog and reads it all the time to see what else is new with you! We're not stalking you I promise, you just have the biggest fan in the form of my 11 yr old = ) Thanks for being such an awesome role model for her!! We love you!!
ReplyDeletehahaha! I enjoyed reading this post.
ReplyDeleteGreat job (especially on kids books part!!)
sounds like a good time there. the only problem is you have to have 14 years of service minimum to be a chief master sergeant so that part is impossible. But he could be a master sergeant then, or if he goes officer in the next year... that gives him 9 years as an officer by then, he would be a captain awaiting promotion to major. good luck with all the rest!
ReplyDeleteI know, I know. That's why I included that very important part at the bottom about it "being out of reach." It's a dream :)
ReplyDeleteThis is fun, Shannon! Brittney tagged me, and it was interested to think about a decade from now. Oye. The kid part is what threw me. I wanted to comment (I usually lurk) because I LOVE MOPS! I know you will too! This Thursday we have spa day for our MOPS meeting. I can't wait!!!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a great life :o)
ReplyDeletehaha. oh me. I saw this the other day and forgot to comment! Also, I was going to do my list of In 10 Years things today, but instead, I wanted to whine about my teefies. haha. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for tagging me! :) love you.
