Got to the park and Huds said goodnight.
Opened up our basket and took a big bite.
Spiderman gummies go great with our lunch
We wash down our food with Blue Raspberry punch.
Blue bunny bread makes the ducks go quack
Duckies go wild for an afternoon snack.
Little boy smiles with eyes so bright
last picnic o' the summer and everything's just right.
Spinning 'round and 'round with his Crocs in the dirt
nephew wears a treasure hunt shirt.
Marshmallow gun is hard to shoot
This little boy is just so darn cute.

You may or may not remember - but a few weeks ago I won a huge prize from Christine. She let me pick my own prize, and I chose a picnic basket! I knew my nephew and I would get lots of fun use out of it! And we did. Today was the "last day" of the summer - C goes to school tomorrow! So, after we golfed a little at the golf course, we scooted over to our favorite park and had a scrumptious picnic full of: Subway sandwiches, Doritos, Spiderman gummies, crackers, and pudding. All courtesy of Christine!
Isn't she a doll? Yes, she is!
She also included an adorable tablecloth AND a marshmallow gun for C! He was devastated when he found out that Teeny would not be joining us. However, he still had a blast.
Thank you, Teeny, for loving us so much! My mom says, "That Teeny thinks of everything." And you do! We love you!
I really loved the poem honey bear! I wish I could have been there.
ReplyDeletehaha "a few weeks ago" You're being generous. It was more like, "2 months ago..."

Love you! I'm so glad it was a success.
