back pain is a pain

Hey, you crazy animals!

This morning I woke up at 550 to a great text message.
Then at 620 when my alarm went off.
Then again at 645, because I decided to ignore my first alarm.

I crawled out of bed and realized that my back was in serious pain. My lower back. On both sides.

Right where my kidneys are.

So my mom thinks I might have a kidney infection. Naturally, I google-search the symptoms. I only have one symptom - the lower back pain and pressure. I don't have any of the "pee symptoms" ... it really, really hurts. It feels like I've pulled some huge muscle, but yesterday I did nothing to warrant a pulled muscle. I sat in school all day, gave a presentation, and wrote a paper. Really. I've never heard of paper-writing causing a pulled muscle!

Any idea what it may be?
Is it possible that this is the beginning of a kidney infection? And I just don't have all the symptoms yet? (Let's hope not!)

in other fabulous news, today is my last day of work. I could literally jump for joy. Host a party. Throw up from being SO excited about this great occasion. But... I'm too tired. Plus I have a zillion projects to do, and they are sucking the life out of me.

Happy Friday, yall!

  1. Maybe you slept on it wrong? That's my mom's answer to anything that hurts for no apparent reason when I wake up.;]

  3. when you have an infection that has moved on into the kidneys the "pee symptoms" you speak of may not be there anymore. those usually come first with the UTI. i'd go pee in a cup for a doc and make sure...those kidney infections can get bad quick. yuck. good luck!
