Not Me! Monday

Welcome to Not Me! Monday! This blog carnival was created by MckMama. You can head over to her blog to read what she and everyone else have not been doing this week.

This week, during my assessments class, we were vigorously sluggishly taking notes. So, while I was copying words off the chalkboard, I did not misspell "if" and accidentally write two f's. Then I did not proceed to nudge my bff, K, to show her my mistake. After laughing out loud, my teacher did not ask me what I was laughing at, and I did not admit to my whole class that I misspelled if.

I'm currently a practicum student at a local school. I'm with 4th graders, so we do a lot of writing. and a lot of open responses. So, this week I got to take some kiddos to the library to work on an open response. After reading the story & prompt, I did not look at them totally confused and say, "Did anyone understand that?!?" I did not have to re-read it and think forever about the correct answer because it was too hard. Surely I, a high school graduate, could handle a 4th grade open response! ...surely!

Last night, I did not go to bed at 8:30pm. What do you think I am? Old!? Ha. Then I did not wake up an hour later, feeling absolutely awful. I did not sit up with my mom until midnight watching the community access channel which showed old men singing from the early 80's. Also, I did not sit up at midnight eating a bowl of chocolate ice cream just so my throat would feel better. As I've said before, I am on Weight Watchers. That would be a total no-no.

Honestly, I did not consider not doing a Not Me Monday because I could not think of anything to say. Okay okay. I did consider it. Normally I make my Not Me's throughout the week, so it's all ready to post on Monday. However, I can honestly say that I did not do that this week. So here goes an awful post.

Oh, and I'll have you know that I did figure out the correct answer to the open response. It was just worded oddly. You would think a 12th grade open response would be a piece of cake compared to a 4th grade one. Seriously.

Goodnight!

  1. You're "Not Me!"'s are so fun!
Annnd I got the three-column template from:
    http://lenatoewsdesigns.blogspot.com/
Just copy/paste the codes & it does the html for you, to make the 3 columns! Because I've tried to follow "directions" to do it, but absolutely none of them worked.
