sweet brother love

Today, our video comes from July 26, 2008 -- the day of Hudson's birth. When C found out that he was going to be a big brother, he told us "It's a boy!!! I know it's a boy." Around 30 weeks gestation, he changed his mind (we didn't find out the gender) and insisted it was a girl. Fast forward to labor day: I video taped C telling me "But it's gonna be a girrrrrl!!! I just KNOW!"

Well, Huds came out a boy! But C was smitten with his new baby brother. After getting over the initial shock of seeing a little naked baby getting measured, he wanted to hold him right away!

Watch as Clayton holds Hudson, caresses his fingers, tells him "I love you," and pats his bottom. C was 3.5 years old here, and it just doesn't get any cuter than this:




You're such a great big brother, Clayton. I can't wait until you get to be another brother to Sprout!
