Buckroe Beach!

Today we wanted to go to this big, gigantic, fun-sounding thingy at Virginia Beach. It included a gigantic sand-sculpting contest with gigantic sand sculptures. We planned on going. But then we didn't wake up until 9am and realized we didn't really want to drive to Virginia Beach.

So then we wanted to go to the MacArthur Center, also known as the gigantic mall. But we didn't really feel like driving to Norfolk either.

And then we started to miss Jackson's Orchard, so we set out to find an orchard in our city. After searching and searching, we finally found one. Or so we thought. We plugged it in our GPS and set off - only to find that this "orchard" was actually a cart of veggies on the side of the road. Calling it an "orchard" almost seems wrong.

So then we finally decided to just go to Buckroe Beach :) The trusty beach nearby that isn't crowded at all. Each time we go, there are probably 5 people on the beach. It's wonderful!

  2. No! She's a midget! LOL. Well I know she weighed exactly 4 pounds when we first arrived.. that was like September 14th or something.. and we have to keep adjusting her collar, so I *know* she is growing SOME.. The vet actually asked me if I'd had her since she was a baby because she thought maybe the seller lied to me about her age.. because she "looked only 9 weeks" when she was actually 14. Of course, they had an adult Westie at the vet in day care, and they brought her out, and SHE WAS HUUUUGE!!!!!!!!!! the vet had to like *carry* her like a sack of potatoes.. we were like WOAAH!!! It was an unusually huge Westie. So maybe the vet is like.. used to that big Westie :\ I don't know. I never saw Piper's parents, so I don't know if they were small or what. but the Westie next door is small, and the owners said that Piper looked like she did. So, yeah :] We'd prefer her to be on the smaller side so it's easy to take her places and stuff. Anyway, but I agree.. it seems like she isn't moving! Even my grandma asked if she was growing. Ha!! She is still so little!
