Piper meets the ocean!

So far, we have visited three beaches. Today, we visited a very exclusive beach - only ONE other individual could be seen for miles! Behind some very fancy town homes was a lovely little beach that banned pets.

Well, who are we to follow the rules, anyway?

We could easily let Piper off her leash (and we did!) and she will not roam away. In fact, she stays very close to us - and admires the ocean from afar! We are definitely going to need beach chairs, a beach umbrella, and an insulated picnic basket. I foresee many beachy days ahead!

In other news, we found a veterinarian for Pipey! We took her to get her registered, and it turned out that she was ready for more vaccinations! She got her Rabies shot and is definitely worm-free now! It also turns out that she is tiny for her breed and "looks more like a 9-week old than a 14-week old!" The vets loved her, and she is quite a social butterfly!

Tomorrow should be move-in day. Keep on the lookout for an update on our home!

  2. Ok Shannon do you want an only dog beach well when you have time you need to take Piper to First Landing Beach in VA Beach and it is very clean.

  4. Cuuuute! I'm so glad it's been lovely and warm for you so far. :] Also, how lucky of you to find an exclusive beach! We thought we found one of those when we went to Sarasota last Christmas, and within an hour there were buzzing people and little girls spreading their legs and peeing on the sand.

    Yep.
