Ode to Dog Park

Ode to Dog Park.

Today we went to the dog park.

We parked the car and she started to bark.

A field of green lay before her eyes

It was a beautiful day - full of blue skies.

The park was divided by big dogs and small

There were many dogs - both short and tall!

We entered the side called "30 pounds or less"

She saw all the doggies and started to stress

It took her a while to warm up to the thought

and in the distance we saw dogs that fought.

Piper came around & ate til she was full

She even made a friend - a puppy Pit Bull

Dogs sniffed her butt, and she romped around

There were Poodles, Labs, and even Grey Hounds.

Piper had lots of fun with daddy and me

So we've lovingly included pics for you to see.

We love her.

And, yes, this post makes up for me being a bad blogger earlier today and not including a picture with her update.
