the sun came out today

The big news around here is... it's warm!!! We're heading into May, and it's finally sunny outside.

Naturally, we took this opportunity for a teeny-tiny photoshoot. I wasn't the one behind the camera. Sorry. I'm trying to get pictures of my hair for M to see.

Sometimes my older nephew thinks it's funny to make me chase him so that I can pick him up. Then he squirms a lot & makes it impossible for me to hold him. And, as an added difficulty, he shouts for his best friend to help pull him away. Here is a visual of my struggle:

Um, I'm starting to notice a trend. My younger nephew is always really confused when we go outside. We weren't even in the sun, so he can't use the excuse that the sun was in his eyes. He just woke up from a nap. I'm sure he was disgruntled and confused.

okay, you can pretty much see my hair her. Basically.

PS. I've decided pretty much that I want my final senior project to be about First Steps. I want to go observe someone in a child's home doing an intervention-y thing and then write a report about the child's disability and what services he/she receives - and then why they help. That sounds like a blast to me! Can't wait :]

PSS. My sister passed her First Steps test, so she will conveniently be working for them this summer. How neat!
