TILT (Things I Love Thursdays)

I'm really excited about this week's TILT! Today I choose to love my new "home town" (boy - it sure seems weird to say that!). Specifically, I'll be talking about the Hampton, Norfolk, and Virginia Beach area. It's all the same, basically.

Here's something my hubby will like AND I know for a fact that our buddies Chris & Brittney will like: A climbing gym! I just now found out about it, so I haven't told PM the good news! Click HERE to visit the website.

Okay, I fully admit that I'm a weirdo. I'm also kind of boring. But I've always wanted to go to a mystery dinner. Luckily, they have one in our new town!! It's called the Mystery Dinner Playhouse. And we solve the murder!! I LOVE eating while watching a show. I also like Medieval Times. I don't know if they have one in Hampton, but it's totally awesome!! Dinner shows are GREAT!

MacArthur Center Mall. A 3 story mall including an 18-screen theater, an ice-skating rink, AND a farmer's market! Holy Moly!! This really blows Greenwood Mall right out of the water.

Drat the fact that we won't be there until the beginning of September... because they have a HUGE ocean-front 4th of July celebration. Including a symphony. I have always dreamed of going to a 4th of July celebration with a REAL symphony. How exciting!!!

There's pretty much everything I could ever want in the Chesapeake Bay area. I've never lived in a big city. I'm so excited!

Ahh, Langley AFB:

I'm lovin' it.

  3. Wahoo!!! Yay for the climbing gym! When we come visit, maybe the boys can go to the gym and we can go to that huge fantastic mall!;] (I would have said the beach, but I'm sure the boys would enjoy that one as well!)

And Mystery Dinners?! How cool! I've always wanted to go to one of those, too! I've been to a Dixie Stampede, where it's like the old days and there's a rink in the center and horses come out and they "fight" and do tricks and stuff. So fun!
